That ‘Jump Smokers Sound’ will do more than just make you move, it will also make you think and laugh (probably at the same time).  Jump Smokers have created the buzz record of the moment called “Don’t Be A Douchebag” (on iTunes now). “Don’t Be A Douchebag” was created more as a public service announcement — the group frankly grew sick of seeing so many douchey guys when hanging out at their favorite hot spots, which is what inspired the comedic and edgy lyric, performed on top of yet another killer J.S. electro-pop beat.

The Chicago based crew have created dance club anthems that have led industry insiders to nickname them “Kings of the Dancefloor”. Remixes including Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed” (included on the worldwide release “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel”), Rihanna’s “Hard”, New Boyz’ “You’re A Jerk”, Honorebel’s “Now You See It”, Baby Bash & Pitbull’s “Outta Control” and Three 6 Mafia “Shake My” have helped solidify Jump Smokers as the emerging force in crossover dance music.  Furthermore, Jump Smokers remixed 12 tracks from Mariah Carey’s “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” for her upcoming remix album series release.  With that and their major label debut album coming soon on Ultra Records there’s little doubt that 2010 will be the year that the rest of the world discovers what Chicago and parts of the US already knows – the Jump Smokers are the official club rockers!
